Asha Bhakta, M.A., BCBA is the Executive Director and founder of Creative Solutions for Hope, a California company that provides Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to families in Orange County. With a Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis from University of Nevada, Reno, Mrs. Bhakta has practiced the principles of Behavioral Analysis for over 10years.
Her keen insight into the patterns of behavior commonly encountered in children with Autism, and many other related disorders, allows for systematic observation and modification of behavior. The principles of ABA not only apply to the child but to the family of the affected child as well, Mrs. Bhakta tailors her recommendations to suit each individual family.
Mrs. Bhakta has extensive experience in Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Training (NET), and Verbal Behavior (VB) procedures. Additionally, she has received training in teaching Language Skills, Communication Skills, Social Skills, Play Skills, Academic Skills and Daily Living Skills to children with a variety of delays and disorders.Mrs. Bhakta regularly performs independent behavior assessments and attends Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings to assist in writing goals.
Currently, Mrs. Bhakta is a Ph.D. student of Behavior Analysis at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
